Dr. Carlo Menon is an Associate professor with the School of Engineering Sciences at Simon Fraser University. He holds a Doctorate degree in Biorobotics, Space Sciences and Technologies, from the Center for Studies and Activities for Space (CISAS – G.Colombo), University of Padua, Italy. He has been the recipient of both the New Investigator Award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the Career Investigator Award from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research. Dr Menon’s research interests include; Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamic, MEMS, Smart materials and structures Artificial muscles and design of mechanisms.
